Plot summary
Bluey is an inexhaustible six year-old Blue Heeler dog, who loves to play and turns everyday family life into extraordinary adventures, developing her imagination as well as her mental, physical and emotional resilience. Bluey is built around imaginative games, led by the titular six-year-old and her four-year-old sister Bingo. Dad Bandit and Mum Chilli are regularly roped in, with near-infinite patience for familiar wails of "play with us!" or "again!" The cartoon family of cattle dogs has earned Brisbane-based creators a Logie, an Emmy, and squeals of delight whenever the distinctive theme song floats across the loungeroom.Bluey is an Australian animated television series. The series is a Ludo Studio production for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Principal production investment from BBC Studios, Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Screen Australia. Developed and produced with the assistance of Screen Queensland.Bluey has reached 16 million viewers in the last quarter of 2019 since its launch on Disney Junior in October, according to data provided by the US broadcaster. That includes the audience for live broadcasts and replays within seven days. An average US audience of between 8 and 25 million viewers is deemed a success. Bluey launched globally on Disney+ on 22 January 2020, and there are coming plans according to Bluey's international distributor, BBC Studios, for multiple European and Asian territories once Disney has held an exclusive window for the show.
